Free diagnostic
The Technical Health Check.
Free, and actually useful. In one week, know exactly where your technology stands.
What we look at
- Codebase quality and security posture
- Architecture and scaling risks
- Dependency and vendor health
- Team and process fit for your stage
- The "bus factor" — what happens if one person leaves
What you get
A written report in plain English — what's solid, what's fragile, what's urgent — plus a prioritized 90-day action list. Yours to keep, share with your board, or hand to your dev team.
What it costs
Nothing. Some Health Checks turn into engagements. Most turn into a founder who knows where they stand. Both outcomes are fine with us.
Questions founders ask
Before you ask.
Is the Technical Health Check really free?
Yes. No invoice, no obligation. Some Health Checks turn into engagements; most turn into a founder who knows where they stand. Both outcomes are fine with us.
What do you need from us?
Read access to your codebase (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket) and one hour with whoever runs your engineering — a lead engineer, an agency PM, or you.
How long does it take?
You get the written report within one week of us receiving access.
Is our code kept confidential?
Yes. We sign an NDA on request, access is read-only, and we delete our access when the review is done. The report is yours — share it with your board, your team, or nobody.
What's actually in the report?
Plain-English findings across five areas — codebase quality, security posture, architecture and scaling risks, dependency and vendor health, and team/process fit — plus a prioritized 90-day action list your dev team can execute.
We use an outside dev agency. Can you still do it?
Yes — that's one of the most common cases. We review what the agency has built and give you an independent read on quality, ownership, and risk. Many founders share the report with their agency; delivery quality tends to improve when everyone knows someone is looking.
